case 430 starter

I know there are many posts about starters for the 430, but, I'll asdk again. The starter started to drag and then guit. I checked all connections and boosted the bat to no avail.Has anyone pulled the starter selonoid and starter apart with any succes? I see on ebay listings for starters for the 430 at reasonable prices.I'm the kind that likes to fix it myself, but sometimes that makes me farther behind,(the harder I try the behinder I get)

trust me , if it is dragggin ,, best thing to do is take it to a good starter alternater shop ,,we have a good one in Palmyra In ,re4asonably priced too R and R ,,you mite google them ...
