We had a Case grinder mixer. It wasn't the best machine to bear the Case name! We had problems with the shear bolt on the inside mixing auger shearing. Seems it didn't fit right in the factory, so someone egged the hole with a torch. Dad finally got fed up with it and it was traded on a New Holland. It was made by Helix corp, as was the self unloading wagons and the auger wagons.

They were sold under the Case name, but I think they were made by another company. Can't remember the company name.

A feed grinder is a hammer mill. Size of screen used in a hammer mill determines the size of the finished product! Didn't make a corn sheller that I know of. Another type of feed grinder would be a burr mill, where two plates rub the grain to grind it. I don't think Case made a burr mill either.
