Case 400lp cylinder head(s)

Both of mine are cracked. Does anyone have any that aren't? I'm not spending a fortune; don't love it that much. Casting A26374

If i remember right that casting # is for a gas head on a 800. I know i have several casting #s A8500 they are the lp head for the 800s and the 400s i think. Thad

Thad is right. The correct head for 400LP, 700LP, and 800LP is cast A8500. You have the same heads as my cousin has on his 400 Gasser.

That costs money too but I am interested if I can put this thing back together for a reasonable price. If it gets too expensive, I'll part it and scrap it to make room for another tractor.

before you go that route keep in mind they were only made for 3 years and I've seen restored ones sell for 5k.
