Just bought this 1470 tractor.Thought you guys might like a few pictures. It was located at a dealer in Mondovi,Wis.It has about 3600 hours on it.Everything works on it,runs great. We have to put a seal in the front left wheel planetary. This one does not steer in the back.It came with all 4 wheel duals, they were taken off for hauling. We will be putting them back on when we fix the front seal. This tractor is a bare back.It has a swamp cooler that works pretty good. The serial nummber is 8674377.We didnt get much information about this tractor from the dealer. If any of you guys reconize this tractor let us know in this forum. We believe the grill was custom made, never saw one with a grill like this one.It was done professionally. We just got 2.5 inches of rain the last two days up here (30 miles southeast of Green Bay) We got it just in time our corn has just started to tassle.

Same question for me. I too live about 30 miles southeast of Green Bay in Mishicot. Nice looking Case tractor. Al

I went and checked this tractor out. It ran and drove really nice. Glad you follow the Case forum here. Chad said your tractor and the other 1470 came from the same farmer in....Montana? The grill is super interesting, I looked real close at it. It's welded so good it looks factory. Case Nutty what's up with this grill? He sent me this pic when they hauled them in, I think the other one is still for sale.

looks to me a Case Lover turned in into a 14904wd the color is power white and power red right? some one did a heck of a job on it, funny it has only rear steer as my Dad would not order one with 4 wheel steer as he thought they didn't need it looks good dressed up in the "newer" look cnt

that's kinda funny...we thought the tractor cam from Minnesota, seeing it has a MN. dealership or something keychain in it. Well who ever had it must have loved Case tractors to repaint it and re-do the front grill. That grill must have costed alot to do seeing they used 1/4 steel plate to make it. Can't wait to get it out in the feilds come fall!!!

This 1470 does not steer in the rear,Im glad it does'nt,just more to wear out!Do you know were I can get dust covers for the brake pistons part number T39150? I know I can get them through CIH but the price is $56.00 each OUCH!Thanks!

There is only one other option for the dust boots, buy them direct from one of the two Hayes distributors. The calipers were built by H&H, now Hayes, and Hayes sells them directly to Case. One distributor is just as bad as Case, the other is cheaper, but I had to wait for mine. It took about a month to get them on a stock order from Hayes. I bought them from Drive Train Industries in Denver, CO. I paid $33.78 each. Still no bargain, but better than Case. They still supply the seals, and pads too, but I sourced the seals locally, and had my pads recovered at another place much cheaper. If you rebuild your Master cylinder, use a Dorman brand kit, they are much better than the Raybestos, but forget using mineral oil, it will eat the seals. I am using the newer Dot 5.1 brake fluid, it has less compatibility issues. Napa and places with performance parts will have it.

Thank you for the great information on the brakes.I thought there had to be some other place that they could be purchased.I will contact the company that you list!

As I tell Tom Stanley, they were the flagship of the fleet.
You will enjoy having a "1470",I have found one in the shed, but it isnt mine, yet.

You got that right! They were built to get the job done.I wonder how many there still are out there? Good luck on the one you're looking at.If you get it send us some pictures, heck even if you don't get it send pictures. It's always neat to see other TK's.
