Is that a 730 or 830 sitting beside the high crop DC? If its an 830 and you were much closer I would sure like to talk you out of it. Spent many hours in the seat of an 830 that looked like that. That would be a '63 or '64 model pre Comfort King I believe.

Tom, I enjoy seeing all the pictures, but there is nothing like you letting us seeing it in person. Keep up the piture taking. Now tell me again how you pick the tractor you want to drive that day.

Quite a yard that you have! Are you still planning that Case Collectors Spring meet for 2014? If so, looks like we may have to take a ride west.

glad you asked Glen,, not many seem interested in it, that is a "DI" Narrow, very rare this one was only used in the Case factory at Racine WI and from what I was told when I got it has the only Case made cab ever for a "D" series tractor I have posted a few more shot's of it for you
you will see a "6-volt Hot Start plug"
a factory Case spinner knob
a exhaust/cab heater made with a Case combine cleaning screen
it has a 6 volt horn and window wiper
a upgraded "400" series seat
and it is a 1952 model with foot clutch as most "DI" tractors had, a hour meter, foot throttle are among some of the optinions this unit has cnt

Very cool - Does she still run? Seems to me I read somewhere that during World War 2, Case built a bunch of DI's for the war effort and shipped them off to theaters of war to be used by the CB's. Sometimes I've wondered if some where on an island there might be an old DI sitting in the jungle or in some barn in Germany.

So far, the only thing I'm not seeing is one of the old Case steam tractors - and it wouldn't surprise me if that's your next picture post :)

Glen I have not taken time to clean the carb but yes she will run although it has been "out of service" since some time in the 80's cnt

You have been busy my old friend, lots of great pictures since I have been gone.the "2670" got to take the year off!
Always liked the job those offset discs done
Thanks for posting Thomas

Hate to keep bugging you, but it seems from the pictures, there's a lot of wood in that cab. How much would you say is made from wood and how much from metal? Could you post a few more pics of the cab and maybe some of the front end? Thanks.
