1370 case

gone look at a 1370 this weekend. owner said runs good and shifts right. wondering what i should look for? anything that stands out to look for? thanks all. in south central La. asking 2500. any pointers and thoughts on this unit. I would like to put a push blade on it. thanks.

The price seems low so you need to find out why the price is low.

Are you asking for pointers in general for buying a used tractor of this vintage or are you looking for specific weak areas that a well used 1370 is prone to have?

I bought a 1370 this spring for 5700 which I thought was a great price. We haven't had any problems except for a lose fitting at the fuel tank allowing it to suck air. I have heard of problems with the power shift going out but at that price you can probably afford to fix it and still have good dollars to horsepower.

seems cheap.

if it runs and shifts you better buy it unless it was used as a battering ram.
