I sure would like to thank all that have served and to all that are serving while we are enjoying. Including my two sons who are in the reserve"s to help keep us safe.

Couldnt be a better time to thank our service people for what they have done.I just got back from a memorial service recognizing these people,I put a flag on my fathers star,and watched my family members,and others do the same,very sobering,it was cold and rainy,but I told me shivering sister along side of me,think of cold Dad was in the Battle Of The Bulge,,,she said your right.....
Then we went to church......

Thanks for the comments. I served over 30 years in the US Army. Obtaining the rank of Sergeant Major. Retired in 2002. For the most part Army life was good. Vietnam, 1967 thru 1970 was a bad time, lost a lot of friends and think of them daily. Nothing I liked better than to take leave and come home to Iowa in the spring time and help my father and hired men put in the crops. Case tractors and equipment of course!!

Vietnam 1968 - 1969 and Proud to have served. Just wished our country had been proud of us then. Also proud of those who serve today.
Most of all proud to be an American.
