Flambeau Red, Dupont Paint code?

Been looking for the Dupont paint code for Flambeau Red with no success (for a 49 VAC)

I stopped at my local supplier, and they couldn't cross the PPG 71282. They pulled open their book of agricultural paint codes...and there were about five choices for Flambeau Red.

I just gave them an older Dupont code 016DH and they're working on finding the new number, so far not yet.

Does anyone have an updated Dupont paint code for this? I want to use the Nason line.

dupont does NOT have a code or number and i have been down this road with them!! i prefer dupont paint when i have a paint job to do!! do not over looks the ppg paint in the shop line stuff!! when i paint CASE tractors i use the 71282 urethane paint!! looks great and has excellant gloss!!! hope this helps!! BILL
 
The Dupont color 016DH is for the old alkyd enamels. The new number is 75195. What I did on mine was have them match Dupli-Color DE1607 Chevrolet Orange-Red. That way I used their engine enamel on the engine and then used Nason 2k on the rest of the tractor. Having the color of the Dupli-Color also gives me touch up paint in a rattle can.

okay steven ? 75195 is the new number from 0-16?? the old enamal number??? would be good to know cause alot of us love dupont paints!!! nason,imron,or whatever!!! BILL
 
The paint # for Flambeau Red is a Chevy number but is EXACTLY the same match! Number is 75195A Centari
Dupont perfect match!
 
Thanks bob V.. Great to know!!! DuPont is fazing out centari but that number can be mixed in other DuPont paints!! I use 3.5 imron so I want to do a case in that!!!! Tough and. Very durable paint!!!!
 
I have used VanSickle brand on several CASE and other guys have too at the local county fair show. Farm stores have it. DONT use the Magic brand--that is super run and drip! Orschlein has it.
It holds up, goes on good and covers good. Has a nice scheene(sp?) to it.
