Just wondering if someone can answer what year or serial # did the 930 & or 1030s change from 6 to 8 speed and if they worked like the 730,830 with duel range or how they worked we never had one just tryin to learn Thanks to all

The "930"was introduced in the fall of 1965 I beleive,books say the first one was S#8253501,but I have a "931" that is before that serial#.
The "1030" was introduced in 1966
Yes,your right the dual range 8 speed was on them also.
They worked well.The "1030" had some Tranmission issues,as it was the same as a 930 and 830.
