We have a 430 with a back hoe and loader on it. I used it today, roaded about 8 miles and when I got back, it sounds and acts like the "direct/low" part of the transmission has major issues. Its always had a whine to it, but today it ended up more like a crash bang. I guess what I am wondering, is how bad is this going to be to work on? I assume I am going to have to split the tractor, and to do that I am going to have to pull the loader and hoe off.
The model on the tag says 440H, and the beginning serial number was 63xxxx.
