I'm getting ready to paint my 1947 S. My understanding is the rear rims are silver. The generator,starter,lights,carb,top of air cleaner, and mag top are all black for that model year. I don't have a good picture of how the decals looked and where placed. So if anyone could help me I would appreciate it. I will use Flambeau Red on the rest of it. Thanks in advance for your help.
