I found a DE and a RE (flathead engine?) power units in pasture. The De is missing some parts but i think most of the clutch and gearbox is there and the Re is complete as far as I can tell even the gas tank, hood, and radiator. They have been in a pasture for who knows long and the guy is asking $200 for the pair. What do you guys think?

If you decide that you don't want them, can post how we can contact the owner?

My opinion is at only $200 for the pair, he's giving you permission to steal them. Get them before he changes his mind.

It seems like the older equipment can do a job, albeit slowly compared to newer stuff, but it tends to break more often. Many of the breakdowns are related to the implements that are being used: the disc, wagon or bushog are among them.
