power tan vs dersert sand(sunset)

Hi, sanding some tin work for my 311b and found two differemt colors of tan. the orignal tan is much lighter than the second coat. I have a cnh can of power tan and it come out to the darker color. Local CNH dealer says they are the same color. I like the lighter color of tan. Is there a paint code for the desert sunset(sand). Thanks pat

Somebody on here will know better than I but Power Tan has to be a construction machinery color, not ag.

I just rattle caned a 700 and used the desert sand from case IH looked right.

Yeah , they are way different. Power tan is the current industrial machine color .......

Case construction colors from early on were Federal Yellow, then in 1975 they changed it to Power Yellow ( has a bit more orange to it ) which is what they still use today, I didn't have a can of DS handy but it is much different than Power Yellow, as to the lighter color the older Desert Sand color was a bit lighter and faded much quicker than the updated Desert Sunset did, I remember having both colors on the shelf and when fresh painted you could not hardly tell the differance, here are the three colors together to see the differance cnt

The 311B should be done in Desert Sunset. The code for it is:
