I am also currently working on a VC. Now just waiting on warmer weather to give her some new "clothes". My wife did electrolysis on all the sheet metal, that's why its all in primer.

Is that the orginal engine?? Mine is a 1940 but has a mag on the right side. Also I think mine should have your front wheels but it has the normal VAC wheels!!

First pic is not the origional motor. Someone had put in a Y 69. I found the origional 140 to replace it. The 140 has the distributor on the top but you could put a mag on the side. it has a plate there. The front wheels are origional vc wheels.
