case dc headlight lenes

I was trying to get my head lights to work and broke the light and this was a original sealed beam light I would like to convert these units to reflector and bulb assembley to replace the sealed beam units but everywhere I look they only sell the compleat light and the parts that you can get are only the 5 inch light parts can any one shed any light on this matter no pun intended.I am finding not many repaire parts to be had the old case/ih web site also shows a number for replacement and I called carter and grunwald in juda wi.trying to find replacement parts but no luck does any one have any ideas

I think the trim ring is different when using a sealed beam.
How come you want to change from a sealed beam?
I would be interested in your trim rings if you end up not using them.

Nick I hearr what you are saying but I was trying to get as close to original and have you tryed to find a good 6 volt sealed beam even if it doesent have the guide logo on it but ,If I decide to replace with after market i will get a hold off you ,best i can do for now thanks for the reply
