Wouldn't happen to wanna part with the 300 roundnose, would ya? I live in WV, so your location would be a big factor.

Not yet, its a 351. I've been looking for one for a while now. Paid $500 for it, it even has the side panels they have been sitting in the barn for the past 30 years. I don't know if you can see it in the pic but the steering wheel is bent down. the guy that owned the tractor was going up a steep hill and it jumped out of gear and couldn't get it stopped, i think the brakes were bad so he rode it all the way down backwards and hit a small ditch or dead furrow and it flipped over backwards and landed on the steering wheel and the hood has a small dent by the gas tank. He ended up under the tractor but they had just worked the field so all he got was a broken leg.

Thankfully the man wasn't killed. My dad rolled an SC over the mountainside once, but he managed to roll out of the way before it could pin him. LLamp in Iowa came all the way here (to WV) to get the tractor just as it was ready to be taken to the scrapper. It was/is a '54 foot clutch model. I didn't realize how scarce they were until after I sold it to him. (I do have dibs on it, though!) Larry sent me a video of him plowing with it a year or so after he got it..definately made me smile. Long live old Abe!

Thanks,
The 1570 is my favorite, when I bought it 2 years ago it had 1992hrs on it, now it has 2060hrs, everything is original even the tires, just needs a cab kit sometime.

Nice collection ,, if they were mine i would spray the outside tractors with oil with a wagner power painter , let the summer sun cook that in the steel ,, keeps the metal sweet and allows a better sanding job when you get around to restorin ,, atany rate you will slow down the rust

very nice tractors, the 400 sure looks like a beast with those big tires. Where did you find the concrete statue of Old Abe? I"m in central Illinois and would like to have one.

There is a place near London Ontario that makes them. The Website i believe is mervspatio.com or .ca or Google Merv's Patio and go to where it says birds. The price is $511.95 cdn. they are real nice people.
