My 940 I bought new in 1961 was a 1960 model. It's hard to believe that for the entire production only 548 were made. I should have kept it just for the rareaty of it.

you both look very proud!! thanks for another great pic Jimmy! as to the numbers just a guess but I would think they may have had some left over 900B stock to sell in 1960 and the 930 would have been sort of a test run in 60 also, but thats just my guess cnt

When I bought the 940 in 1961 I wanted it to have the nose of the 1961 930 Diesel. They said all 1961 LP"s were called 61es but they had to many of them left over from 60 to make them different. I think all the LPs stayed the same until the CK."s.
