Hello just wondering what you your thought on a 930 are. Priced the same as a m farmall twice the tractor any real issues? thanks

You should give a bit more information as the 930 series encompassed quite a variation in design. the early ones were 6 speed, chain drive, basically an improved version of the earlier Case westerns ( L,LA, 500, 600 & 900). Then the seat was moved forward and the fuel tank to the rear, but still the 6 speed tranny, and western set-up (no 3pt and essentially fixed tread width). Later 930s had an 8 speed transmission and various configurations and options that included 3pt hitch, variable tread width, etc. That said, the 401 diesel is a great engine and both tranmissions were nearly indestructable. Brakes have a tendency to be weak, as does the pwr steering. Certainly far more tractor than a Farmall M.
