Sorry if this a duplicate - still trying to post correctly.

Anyhow - looking at a 1963 430 tomorrow. I don"t know a lot about tractors and nothing about Case. Anything special I should be looking for as far as problems. Owner says it has a steering cylinder leak (yahoo - power steering - I wasn"t expecting on a tractor this old) that he would fix if I paid for the parts $80.00. Otherwise everything works. Says 1900 hours (800 when he bought it ten years ago). What are the chances that"s correct?

If it has a steering cylinder, that means it is a late 430. Very desireable. 1900 is low hours. See if the tach works. Should have flexable Cat. 1, 3 Pt. hitch. Get the Top Link. Buy it.
