My Grandpa's 1951 DC back to work after 20 years of inactivity and stuck motor. Disking wheat ground and then drilling the wheat. Not sure of disk model but the drill is a JD FBB

Congratulations! , I Must Assert: ( ALL DCs ARE MEN !,guys ),,,,and the DC ,VAC , and L Should always be Capitalized in type , in my opinion from experience , capitalization not necessary for most sc models,,, LOL ,, ,and Hale Yes!, the DC will pull the disc and planter TOO !.. The Heart And Soul of Dads 51 DC prompted Pop to affectionately name the DC "the OL' Gent" some 40 odd yrs ago , and the name stuck in our family folklore .. What a dependable, versatile Tuf rugged HOSS ! ,i bouht Pops DC from him 20 yrs ago ,used it alot , parked him way back inside the barn and stuck a lazy sc in its way for 4 yrs , and now the motor is stuck ,, SHOCK,, would never thought that would happen ,,got him soaking rite now ...

My dad had a "hopped up" SC with a LP gas head and some overbore. We pulled 2 18s, an 8' disk and culipacker, pulled the rotary hoe in 4th. The front wheels were not always on the ground!

We only had one tractor that was "named", and it was the DC. It was called "Bruiser". A friend had a DC named "Bruno". All DCs should have very tough names, since that is how they are!

Yes,its sure nice to see the "DC" running,I sure enjoy mine, and when the M's come around, were always ready for a fight!
