i am wanting to know if there are other ways to i d the correct year of this tractor i have a block number of 4446A does this help with the i d search and is there a production date any where on the tractor i can search for thanks

Hi grandpas te20

You mentioned about the number cast into the engine block of your 1930 model "L", that is actually the cylinder block part number. However if you look on the left side of the cylinder block, and up in the top front, corner you will find a flat machined surface, on which will be stamped also with the tractors Serial Number. Unless at any time the block has been changed, or a new cylinder block has been put in, in which case there will be no numbers stamped there.

Serial number should also be on the engine. Take first and 4th digit such as 382346 (3 and 3 - 3 = 193o. caseman-d

It's stamped on the outside edge of the engine flange where it meets the clutch bell housing. I don't remember which side of the tractor.
