Just found some info on tires for our 530 case-been looking for tire size as there was truck tires on but nobody seems to know what size they are. It has 14 rims and spoke to original owner who says the rims are original yet the dealership says the size is 16. Anybody have ay input, thanks

The serial number will correlate to a year the tractor was manufactured. The "0" at the end of the model number makes the tractor a utility version, instead of a general purpose. My 470/570 Operators manual (which would be consistent with the late 430/530s) identifies 6.00x14 tires were available on tractors with the 52-80" adjustable front axle. See table below - Joe

It is entirely possible that your 530 had factory equipped 14" front tires, particularly if it is a late model. - Joe

Origanaly they were 6.00x16. Draft o matic tractors with hydrostatic sterring came with 7.5Lx15 tires.

In my younger days, mom, dad and my brother made frequent visits to dad's youngest brother Pete, who took over the home farm from grandpa MIke. It was the typical set-up, milk cows, pigs & chickens. In the winter, we'd play ... [Read Article]
