Found a great little 1965 741C Comfort King with narrow front end for sale in SW Iowa this weekend. She's in very good original condition. Tin is excellent, and she appears to be in good mechanical condition. Top link and sway blocks are there, Tires are 15.5 x 38 and 6.00 x 16, and both sets would be 70-80%. Rear rims show no sign of calcium. C-O-M works great and it has no transmission noise. Brakes hold and appear to be in good condition. OEM working tach shows 4408 hours.
THe only leak I could find is in the COM valve assembly...probably easily fixed with a set of o-rings.
I wish I could own this one, but have to many projects already. She would make for an easy restoration project, or put her to work.. I have no financial interest in this tractor, but wanted to help out a fine, honest young couple that has it, and would like to see it find a good home.... email if you would like more information.
