Dose any one know if there is a way to slow down A 47 LA Propane. Running 18.4 x 30 Rubber and 10% over Rpm. Also looking for a set of 4.875 Bore sleeves. Bought A parts tractor with good pistons and rods but, it had been run to much with just water and sleeve are not usable.
Thanks for any info.rlg

Old Rusty, Look up ABC Repair Parts.com. They list the 4 7/8" piston ring set as part #121295, they may have the sleeves and pistons as well. I have a '49 propane LA and a '51 propane LA with 4 7/8" pistons and they seem to have all the power that the tires can hold. The larger the piston, the greater the fuel consumption, but the power is better. ---Derrol in Texas---
