My Case 740 (ser # 8285645 made in 1966) PTO clutch is slipping. There is no service hole or hand hole to adjust the clutch as per service manual. If there is, I can't find it! How do I adjust the PTO clutch?

the hole to do the adjustment thru is on the right hand side of the tractor (as you sit on it) under the platform rearward & down from the hyd. filter if I remember correctly....good luck , I had a hard time getting mine set without making a tool.....small hands help good luck....Shawn

There is a handhole in that location but when I look in, all I see is the big wheel gear. I can also see something move inside when I engage the PTO lever. Lever is located on left side of driver seat. This access hole is also about 2 ft away from the PTO shaft area which leads me to believe this is not the handhole to access the PTO clutch. I also took a picture of the back of the tractor that I would like to send you if you could provide me with your email address. FYI, my hydrolic filter is on the left side close to the clutch pedal. I certainly appreciate any further insight you could provide
