The hitch valve on this tractor has three solenoids. Two look like all the others on the tractor the third looks like a large hex shaped nut, at one time it had two wires on the bottom both torn off and the connector even missing from the tractor harness.
Looking at the parts page it appears to be an on/off solenoid. Those of you with a service manual or knowledge thereof please chime in with the actual function and testing. Oh, and case/ih wants $675 for a new one. TIA Tom
