I have a 1954 SC with foot clutch. I bought three of John Salie's manuals but all of them seem to talk only about the hand clutch. Where can I find adjustment information for my foot operated clutch?

When I got the tractor a short time ago, the clutch pedal return spring was broken so I replaced that. It seems to have an inch or so of free play in the pedal before, "resistance," is felt when pushing down. Probably OK, but I'd be curious what a Case manual would say about it.

Engagemt seems firm and positive, but it does engage at nearly the top of the pedal travel, (before free play).

I don't know if I need to provide any service to my clutch although I know I need to drain the bell housing when changine oil.

Thank you both. Page 34 I have in my manual, but thank you for taking the time for posting it.

The 6 pages of late manual additions is perfect. Just what I am missing and it also covers a few other things for which I had no answers yet.

Another change that was made on the late SC's is the front wheels are 16" instead of 15".
We have a 54 SC with 16's,does yours have 15's or 16's? Nick

Just checked: front tires are 6.00x16. I also emailed for build card info, and got a reply today that my SC was built in April of 1953. So I guess that really does make it a 1954, not 54. I understand 1954's lost their belt pullys but gained a foot throttle.

I have a pully, which I am pleased about, but wish I had a foot throttle. I think they are pretty simple and could probably be made just like original.
