1937 cc pics

Well i finally bought the last piece for my cc to make it as good of an original as it can be. Its had the wrong hood on it for about 3 years now and i've been waiting and hoping to find a correct rusty hood that would match the rest of the tractor, and last week i found one that is as good as i'm gonna find. Here are some pictures.

With the wrong hood on it:

Here it is with the new correct hood and oiled up to protect the little paint that is left on it:

I need to put a different set of front wheel grease caps on it to match better.

Nice! I like the originals better than the painted up ones. Taking it to Albert City? What are your plans for the older hood? I have been watching for one for the GC.

Very nice machine. Imagine using that in the field for days at a time. The CC I have I use to run a threshing machine so it sits and does the work. Thanks for the pictures and the effort to keep the old girl going, Allan.

I had a CC for about 4 years and used it in the field and for chores and can't remember that CASE was stamped into the hood sides. Mine was on rubber and had a canopy sort of Rops built onto it. I did a lot of plowing and discing with it in 1959./1960 etc. Real good old tractors. They sold cheap on farm sales back in those days.

You have one super sharp CC . I like the Moto-Meter in the radiator cap . I had one on my CC for yrs , till it got broken off. Never should of had it on while farming with the CC. clint

i'm not sure what i'm gonna bring to albert city. I'm hoping to have my DCS up and running by then. I'd probably sell the old hood. I don't have another c series tractor and probably won't for some time. If your interested you can shoot me an email and we can get something worked out.

Love them pictures of the CC. Dad farmed with one up till 51. Ours had rubber put on it. Dad would sit me on the tool box in front of the steering wheel. I quess you might say that was the first tractor I rode on.
