Case 1070 clutch issue

I have a 1972 1070 with 4100 hours, when I push the clutch all the way down I get a grinding and squealing noise. Still seems to shift fine if I let the clutch up a little. Anyone have an idea what would be causing this? Thanks for any reply.

If you have an 8 speed with a true clutch it might be the throw out bearing. That is how my 970 acted when the TOB started to go.

I think your inching pedal is slightly out of adjustment. You need to fix that before it causes a real problem.

It could be as simple as adjusting the pedal travel adjustment screw under the dash at the top of the pedal
