47 case vac - making progress

I actually got off my butt yesterday and worked on my lil case. Went over to my buddies house and pulled the engine out of his vac-14 for my 47 vac. Didnt take all that long, I was supprised since I forgot my rattle gun :D.

After I was done with that I narrowed the wheels up - ALOT ! They were wide as the would go. Flipped the one hub around and the wheel. The other I just turned the wheel around for now tilll I get the engine swapped out and running again. I figure I didnt do real bad in the couple hours I worked on it, since It poured on me most the time I worked on the case.

Good job!. Getter done. By the way , I will give you a nice VAC in every way "IF" you come get it with that ole truck in the back ground, load in the back and haul it away. Deal?

I am just finished up rebuilding the engine on my 48 VAC. Fired it up on Sunday. I did a complete top to bottom rebuild. I need the weather to clear up so I can drive it around and break the engine in. Good luck with yours.
 
Haha !! Id prolly haul the truck there- if it ran.... Its my buddies 1929 Ford AA dump truck. Supposed to have a fresh motor then was stuck in the barn - I think about 1960?
 
The 14 was parked years ago due to a weak engine. The combine sat on it and messed up the grille hood and a fender.
We pulled the engine out and got a kit for it. and I redid the head. My buddy ran outta time at one point pulled the engine outta another vac that he got from a auction and stuck in his vac 14. It ran good in the other tractor. It needed the carb cleaned and didnt run as well, then the hydraulic pump got hot/ eagle hitch quit lowering.

Now he's building a house to get his inlaws outta his house and should have a new kid by the end of the week too. So the 14 and all his other tractors are gonna sit for awhile.
