I WAS DELIVERING A LOAD OF SHEET IRON IN TO THE MILL AND A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A BLACK NIGHT CAME IN AND I WATCHED IT GO TO THE BELLY OF THE BEAST. I herd CASE NUTTY cry NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

same thing just happoned here in wisconsin i dumped a load of scrap and saw a dc with good tires and sheet metal sitting in the lot i thought they must use it around the yard and then i looked over my shoulder and they riped off the sheet metal and smashed it i almost died!! then i looked over and saw a two cylinder high crop jd (not being a jd fan but knowing that green brings big money) i tried to get them to sell it to me but they would not allow anything brought into the lot out it was a very sad day for all

im not much of a case person but if that ran and it was destroyed how stupid can peopl get. atleast sell it to a parts place to keep the other nice cases goin. that would make it even worse to find out it ran and nothing was wrong with it.

That happend here in Indiana also .Although it was green it ran, the gentelman ( using the term loosly) drove it into the scrapper and they turned it into a bale .WHAT A WASTE!!!!!

Had a couple of scappers show up wanting to haul off our old sweeps and disk blades told them no thanks Had a long conversation on how stupid it was to be hauling in old plows and disks when they could sell them to collectors for a lot more they had no idea an old plow in decent shape would bring 100 a bottom mabey I helped save a few

dont you just love how junk buyers call or show up at your house asking if they can have your junk collection. my 2470 im parting out do you know how many junk buyers call me asking how much it weighs. if that is the case i will junk it my self and make more money off but im not going to junk that. to many good parts to waste. thats how i feel anyway. why waste something thats good.

As I work in the scrap industry you wouldn't believe what I see scraped. Just yesterday I have been bringing 80yd boxes into a friends farm to do clean up and found 3 100# IH weights ,3 100# ford weights and 4 JD wheel weights for pressed wheels. I asked to buy them and they told me if I get them before they do there mine! Have you ever tried to put 6 100# weights in the cab of a semi?

930s and all the rest are going to scrap fast. All kinds of field ready implements also. At the rate this is going, we will have very few tractors left VERY few spare parts, and very little equipment. We are loseing machines we might be needing for work one of these days. I am very worried about it to be honest. Anyone who has been around farming knows that we MUST have machines if we are going to raise crops...

next time somebody gos to the junk yard take some pics of the tractors you see there. ive actually never seen a tractor at a junk yard but some real nice trucks and cars. people are pulling better vehicles across the scales than you see at a used vehicle place which is also sickening.

I have a friend that was a junker. Those guys only see things one way and they do not think about tomorrow, only the check at the yard.

Goodness!!!! I cannot imagine scrapping even a transmission houseing or ANY part of a machine or implement unless it is truly junk and not useable at all. I see a machinery shortage comeing.
