2 running and 1 scattered all over my shop at the moment.

I grew up on them. When I was about 10 dad gave me a 1210 as my first "real" tractor.

lol...I am going through a 995 now. My father has a 1412 and a 990. He used to own a 1210 and sold it about 15 years ago. I recently found it sitting out in a field just rusting away. I have tried to contact the current owner but he wont return my phone calls...oh well...lol...I hate to see it just sit there and rust away...I guess I am sentimetal for old Iron...lol...cya

DB specified to use what ever you use in the engine. Most anything of an appropriate viscosity will work.
Universal Trans-hydraulic TCH, 134 fluid, 303 fluid, whatever you want to call it seems to be popular, but anytime I use it i get red paint chips in my selecta-matic valve. Maybe just a coincidence but I think it somehow reacts with the paint inside... Call me paranoid.

I am running motor oil in mine at present, no floating paint issues.

Is your oil currently milky? If so it will take a few changes to dry it out, lots of nooks and crannys inside the transmission case.

Some of my fondest memories of these visits are those of learning to drive a tractor at the helm of Uncle Cecilís 1948 Farmall Super A. Uncle Cecil was the second owner of this wonderful little tractor, but it was almost as though he had adopted an infant. The original owner was a man from Minnesota who bought her from a local dea ... [Read Article]
