DB tin work

I have a 4600 with a wrinkled nose. As well as I know the later 780/880's and the 885 should be the same. Can anyone tell me if this is correct and where i might find one in the midwest.

Early 885s are the same, late(75-76+) ones are different. Generally if the under carriage is brown it should work.

As to finding a good one? Good luck. DBs have to be the most abused tractors on the planet. Unless the parts tractor had a rack of weights or a bumper on the front it is likely gonna be smashed. They all like to rust out at the lower edges too, especially if it has ever been in a barn, or spread fertilizer.

I have one here for a 1210 that I have been saving. It is rusty and dented, but could be repaired with a lot of work. Better than building one from scratch though. It is an easy to find part compared with the little ones.
