I restored a MM military tractor and was very interested in restoring a Case military tractor. I am a military veteran so I have a bit of a soft spot for the military versions. I am looking for one preferably located in the midwest so I don't have to spend most of my money on shipping. Thanks much in advance!

This one looks like it may have seen military use, see link below. Better get a second opinion.

Sure looks alot like the MM I have. I see it has some Flightline yellow paint on rear section. I am assuming the hood is not original. Would it be much of an issue to get a hood for this tractor.

I'm pretty sure that is a military style hood. The grill may not be military, see link below. If you are interested get the serial number from the seller.

Most of the military ones have a different grill than the agricultural tractors. The grill looks the same as the agricultural tractors.

Sorry, I couldn't find the military VAC on craigslist. Either the post was removed or craigslist won't let me go back far enough to find it.

There was a military VAC for sale on craigslist a few months back. It came from KI sawyer airforce base. I think they were only asking $600. I'll have to go back and see if I can find it. It would have been on the "yoopers" section in michigan. I think the tractor was in Escanaba

Dang Mark - don't be so rude! I don't know what it is about the internet but manners sure go out the window! Let me work with the guy since it was my post. If we can't come to some agreement you can take it from there.

Today's Featured Article - On the Road with Dave Gohl: Tractors and Farming - by Dave Gohl. I never thought I'd live to see the day, when I could call myself a farmer. What allows me to say this? Well, when our family moved to our 20 acre site near New Prague, Minnesota, I had one thought in mind. You guessed it, farm it somehow. A little history is in order. In my younger days, mom, dad and my brother made frequent visits to dad's youngest brother Pete, who took over the home farm from grandpa MIke. It was the typical set-up, milk cows, pigs & chickens. In the winter, we'd play ... [Read Article]
