It's been bugging me what I did with this book, since Jim's post. Got up this morning -2F, had some coffee and decided to raid the closets. Had to get the wifey involved or I would have been in deep DooDoo if I touched any of her "stuff". Mission accomplished! Back in a closet we found two boxes with the book and a bunch of other prized peices of lit. and CASE memorabilia. For the Pics. I gathered up some other "stuff" that I did know was squrrled away. Belt buckles plaques etc. I also have a CASE toy collection of around 1000 peices, 300 or so 1/16 scale boxed away. God I even found a Marie Osmond album with a pic of a Red 2096 on it. Must have come from the Intro in Vegas when they appeased the Red Bros. The pic. of the Golden Demonstrator was one sent out to dealers. The Brass Plaque in the lower RH corner came off our 870 GD. It has my dads name on it. The 10-20 Lit. and parts price book was given to me years back by a customer. It has a stamp on it saying Sold by ARTHUR BUTT, Oneonta NY. A fellow about 35m. from me has one of these tractors and a case truck in running condition in original cloths. The 1914 CASE Product Catalog was something that my dad found in a box of stuff when he remodled the building. If you guys want to see pics. of lit. In the red product binder, I would be glad to post them. It seam to have every case implement in it from the CASE 22X37 Stationary Thrasher on rubber tires to Weeders to offset disc drills, to the 300 and 400 tractors.
PS to Joe -- Look at the pic. of the Red leather bound Catalog. Thusrdays mail. Thanks again.

Wow. That's all really neat. I thought Case quit making threshing machines in '51 and selling threshing machines in '53. What tractor is running the separator on the brochure in the binder? Does that brochure have a date on it?

By the way, I'm digging the Marie Osmond record.

ACG;
Looks like a nice collection of stuff.
Do you have a brochure on the VAO-15? I have not seen one for these tractors.I have a mailer brochure that shows a small picture of one from the side,but doesn't go into any detail.
Thanks for posting, Nick

My D series dealer service manual addreses the drop boxes on the DS relating to bearing preload. there was no means of chain adjustment in the boxes. Thats all I have. I can forward this part of the SM if you would like. Acg.

Can't help you with lit on VAO15 and never saw one. I did spend a lot of time raking with a VAO and Case 200 rake when I was old enough to be turned loose in a field. 4th gear just over an idle.

ACG,
Thank you very much for the offer, but I was hoping you might have a flyer or piece of sales literature for a DCS. There may not have ever been any. Don

I am amazed at the amount of info that you have.I am new to this I have a 53 dc eagle hitch with foot cluch and know nothing about eagle hitch impements could you post you eagle hitch brochure so that a newbee like my self could learn more. thanks

AWSOME COLLECTION OF ABSOLUTLY COOL STUFF!!!!!! Wish I had a copy of that CC manual for my collection. Trying to find case stuff around here is proving to be a chore.

Hay DC in Ill.
The catalog I have for Eagle Hitch Equipment is 48 pages thick. It will take some time for me to scan and transfer this to a folder in my computer. Be patient and follow this forum in the future.

Any news on my threshing machine questions? I wouldn"t re-ask, but I think they might have gotten lost at the bottom of the pile. This thread was too popular, and my post got buried. :) Thanks!

I sure enjoyed this post,as I have a few of the pieces you have,the golden demo pic used to be right over the door into my Dad's office held there by a horseshoe!So where the shoe held it,its faded.
I would love if you posted more pics of your collection,as it sure passes the cold winter days enjoying the pics and stories behind them.Again thanks for posting
