This is a 201Case engine sn.2676376 off of a 660 combine we sold new. As you can see it is still on the engine frame complete with rad. and pulley drive housing. One thing to note about this engine, it utilized a Pierce external belt driven govenor. I have a question for you case guys. The timing cover on this engine is not machined for the internal gov. which is on other engines. So, will a 148 timing cover and gov. assy. bolt up to this engine? I haven't taken time to do any compareing in the parts books.

Hey old friend mr DCTOM Seems the motors in question fit-up to vac tractors. I have access to 2 vac's for the right price. I always wanted to make a small 4 wheel tractor with more power than just one of the motors. Hers what I am thinking, will any of the larger motors bolt up to a vac and them I and using pto and floping the differental on one of them make something like a small stiger??? thr otyer option I have considered is making a small dozer out of the one vac that the motor is not stuck

Yes it does. If you remember my pulling 300B at McFaddens a couple of years ago! That has the 201 block with the 148 front plate.

Hi Brad
How are things going for you. I ment to post back the other day when you posted here, but----. Do you have any plans to come back up this coming year? Scott and I haven't added to our collection this year, but I would like to get this 201 into my 1957 310 dozer.I still got some nice pics. of you pulling the 2 and 300 at Sunucrest.

hey all you too bill, the 201 wont fit a vac with out some modifition , bell houseing is bigger, must have vac fly wheel redrilled to fit 201 crank for vac starter will work

Lots of time if you want it to look good. Been there done that. Pulled our VAC with this combo in #3500 thru #4000 with 14.9x38, plenty of snort. Dave S

If I remeber right the 660 I had. Had a hydraulic pump above the oil filter and had athe govenor under the front cover. I will check later today. The motor is still in the shed. It sure was a nice runner.
