DC/SC VERTICAL DISTUBTOR ADAPTER

DO ANY ONE KNOW ABOUT THIS FO A 53 DC AS I AM THINKING OF CONVERTING TO DIST.FROM MAG HAVE SEEN THIS ADAPTER ON SC BOUT NO MENTION FO THIS IN PARTS BOOK ANY LIGHT SHEDED ON THIS SUBJECT WOULD BE HELPFUL AS I AM NEW TO THIS.THANKS IN ADVANCE.

thanks to all who posted the guy nextdoor to me has a 41 sc that came from the dealer with a vertical distubtor the adapter has the number 171 on it what i was thinking was there ever a case factory adapter or were they always a magneto and was there ever a factory mag to distubor kit that any one knows about but thank you already for the replys as i am closer to converting the dc that i have bob in Il.

Delco Model 1111411 is a right angle setup that was widely used on Farmall's and A-C. It fits right on a DC. I just replaced the 1111411 on my DC with case Mag

Hi there, I converted 3 of my Case DC"s over to Delco distributers, it works very well and is not hard to do. I can email you a picture of my tractor if you like. I might have an extra unit for sale if you need one. I am in Penna. P.S. you need to have a battery in the tractor at all times, the magneto you don"t need a battery to run the tractor. Hope I was of some help, Harold
