1967 930 with 8 speed

The gear lever on my 930 often lifts out of the selector slot. Do you normally have to build up the lever or will replacing the pins that hold the lever fix it.
I haven't looked at it yet. Regards - Michael.

I believe I'd do both, The tranny cover is not a difficult R&R. She's probably worn flat.

Thanks for the reply Camboted. I pulled the floor up today and found that the circlip was missing on top of the ball. Otherwise it was in pretty good condition, except that the boots are perished. Best regards - Michael.
