Call Dupont on Monday at 1-800-338-7668 and select opt #3, then select opt #1.

Someone will recommend which paint and code. They said to use Dupont's Nason paint code DS169 on the 22-36. Hal

There is alot of contravercy about whether McCormick Deering tractors were a light grey, or a dark grey. Romors have had it that the company purchased alot of loft over paint from the navy (Battleship grey) after WWI. I have restored a 1929 Regular with the dark grey and have had many old timers tell me that it looked exactly how they remembered it back from years gone by. Only one has told me that they were light. If you like, send me a message and I'll send you a photo of the tractor, and the code I used for the paint. My email is open. Jerry

Hello Vickie

I note you request for color etc code for your 1928 15-30 tractor. If you go on the net to the Wisconsin Historical Society, as they hold all of the late I.H.C. companies historical archives which you will find are extremely comprehensive, right from the first days of I.H.C. Having got to their home page - click on Paint Committee Decisions - where you will find all of the relevant info that you could ever require. An EXCELLENT SITE !! Good Luck

Corn products were harvested for grain, and for ensilage (we always just called it 'silage'). Silo Filling Time On dairy farms back in the 30's and into the first half of the 40's, making of corn silage was done with horses pulling a corn binder producing tied bundles of fresh, sweet-smelling corn plants, nice green leaves with ear; the ...
