Ok, I inherited the grandparents farm. With it came a tractor. Thanks to Google, Im fairly sure its a Case. All I can read on the tractor is a still barely legible "Triple Range Drive". I should have taken a picture of it (but the tractor and I arent in the same place at the moment, so pics will be forthcoming). I know its a diesel. Based on the pictures I saw, looks to be mid 50"s-ish.
The issue: Its leaking (more like gushing)diesel back into the block. Even if the tractor is not running and the fuel is turned off, check the oil several days later and there is probably 5 or 6 inches of diesel over the fill line for oil.
Is there some sort of diapraghm or valve in the injection pump I should replace? Or is the entire pump a gonner? or something else altogether?
The tractor will start and run if you change the oil to get the diesel out of the block.
