I have a Bosh MJB mag for my L and it has no spark. The points look good though they did have some white powdery corosion around them but were not burnt. Is there a way to check the condencer and the coil out or is it a thing where you replace parts until it works?

thanks for the advice, I"ll check it out and get back to what I found. I do have a Case mag that will kill you with the spark but I"d rather put on the Bosch.

Most Mag problems that I run across here are the result of corrosion. Take it apart & clean every connection, including the points. Set the points close, about .012. Setting the points close keeps the points closed longer, allowing the mag to build up a bigger charge before firing. Good luck.

Clean the points as Hoss suggested. If you still have no fire check the mag's magnets for magetism using a flatblade screwdriver. Hal PS; It could be a weak coil too.
