See if this works.
As far as I can tell its the same as an 1170 without the outboard planetaries.
Heavy drawbar w/double roller.
Heavy 3pt hitch welded solid.
Heavy hydraulic caliper-disc brakes.
Three versions. Delta, Rice and Western.
Anybody know whats different in the three versions?
If I had to guess I'd say big rice tires on the Rice tractor. The Western was maybe a bareback and the Delta was a typical setup?
Or maybe just a different decal depending on what branch house it was shipped to?

I don't know where you are located, but there is one "in the flesh" at the New Holland dealer in Vandalia, IL.

Great pics. I have never seen one this original. Is it yours? They actual called them 3 different versions? The Delta sticker on the fuel tank is very interesting. The western version proble had those nasty 24 inch wide fenders. They never called any other 70's series tractors anything more than the model #, that I ever saw.

On the right side it also says Delta just above the starter. Left side tin is missing. Not my tractor, just some pictures I saved from the Web.
I thought I had pictures of a nicer Western version but I couldn't find them.
