If I remember right they are a little smaller? Slows the fan down for poorer cooling if it is working hard.

Actually it is a bigger pully and it does slow the fan down, but keep this in mind a fan will only go so fast and you cannot get it to go faster no matter what. You cannot keep the belts tight enough to overcome this with the orginal pully. The bigger pully has more surface for the belts to grip. I speed up my motor to 1700 instead of 1600 rpm. so all the belts would do is squeal with the 930 pully. Doesn't the 830 tractor run at a higher rpm than the 930? After the change to 830 fan pully the belts didn't have to be so tight. I found that it realy cooled better because the fan kept running instead of slipping. Never had a cooling problem no matter how hard I pulled it or how hot the day was. Belts lasted longer, pulleys lasted longer and gen. or alt. bearings lasted longer. Powersteering never slipped after the 830 pully. The fan-waterpump bearing has never went out in 8400 hrs.
