1570 fuel tank

Hey guys the bio deisel got me this morning pluging up my fuel line . This is the 4th tank we will have to clean out . does the tank have a screen in the bottom or is it just an open hole?

It's a screen in there. If it's just jell, try some dry gas, and try blowing back w/ air pressure where the line comes into the sediment bowl. If that trick works, it will save pulling the tank to get to the screen.

did not have to pull the tank on My 1070.. must be different from your 1570 ... after removing fuel , i was able to take out the bottom valve assembly and clean all the gunk on the stand up screen ,, plenty gunked up , bio diesel should clean the tank, use sparingly at 1st , and be prepared for filter problems ... i LIKE GREEN FUELS .... ran some home grown and home distilled alcohol in my 350 chevy metal tank , the filter had to be changed twice for all the dirt and rust ,, b-12 helps.. slant 6 massey combine motor got along best with alcohol fuel ... exhaust had a nice cooked corn odor to it . LOL
