Went to the salvage yard to look at some engine parts they were supposed to set aside for me from a LA they tore down. Turns out that they have saved alot of stuff for me just in case. Pretty much all the trans gears and drive chains, steering spindles, arms, the entire engine minus the block and crank, athough they kept the main brgs.Sleeves and pistons are there but not that great, and I also saw the magneto with Ole Abe stamped in it. $250 for all of it.Sound like a good thing or am I going to be stuck with a bunch of parts that I will never use and can't sell?

I'm way in the corner of NW Ia. Let me know what you need and I'll see if I have it. I better wait until the L is running before I get rid of too much stuff though.

If the Mag works it worth more than the $250 you payed. Hard to find and not made any more.
My 1945 has an American Bosch on it. Walt
