I have a 2590 that the geers take too long to stop turning after i push the inching peddle to the floor. If while holding the peddle down I reve the engine and then bring it back to idle it shifts ok.I rebuilt the power shift,it was bad. The tractor had the this problem of the geers takeing way to long to stop before I tore it down. any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Marc

Case tractors shift better at higher RPM'S (12/1500)due to design of powershift. When cl pedal is depressed, oil is directed to C4/rev clutch pack, thru an orifice in control valve, to act as trans brake.

make sure clutch cable moves freely, sometimes a new one makes a big differants. adjust properly. check poppet bottom of control valve is ok, springs now broken. pressure is 180 to 210 psi.
