Here's how we keep the tractors from running around at night in NY. Typical lineup of Case;s awaiting there turn in the shop. Is ther anything prettier than a two tone Case?

Fred Goodrich said: (quoted from post at 08:01:57 02/11/10) Do you have any info on the Henderson co? Did they make something other than loaders?

They now make these

They have moved to Manchester if it is the same company.

That looks like a '41? Its an awful close copy of the '40 that I spent my youth on. Great picture, thanks. Leo

what's the ser.# of your sc? My center ex./smooth block is 4500477. I have a center ex. hood but it doesn't have the deep sides like yours. The original hood got butchered and though I managed to find another it was from a later number tractor.

Hi Fred

I have enjoyed your photo's very much, as I am to a "Dyed In The Wool" CASE man of 70 years now.

That "SC" in the shed is a very early one, as I note it is what we call a "Centre exhaust", and also note that it also has a "Ribbles" cylinder block eg it has no reinforcing ribs cast into the block just above the oil pan, many thanks for the GREAT photo's.
Tractors I have owned, model "C" (2), model "L" (1), model "LI" 4 speed (1)"400" Diesel (1) (western),"930" comfort King, (Western) 1,"930" Diesel Western, (1st model (1960) 1,and a model "1200" Traction King - 8 speed (1)

Sincere regards

That SC looks an awful lot like one I saw in Pennsylvania a couple weeks ago.

Beautiful pictures. I live near Buffalo and
get down to Owego a few times a year. Will have
to stop in.
I have gotten older Case backhoe parts from you
in the past year.
