Merry Christmas to all of you. I am a lot better than I was a year ago. I started lifting weights in April. A year before that I couldn't lift much of anything when I left the nursing home. The last that I dead lifted was 251 pounds and I lifted 121 pounds from the ground over my head. It made me feel better and walk better than I have in years.

I went into the hospital 12-08-2007 and went into a coma on 12-09-2007 for about five weeks. When I woke up I couldn't move. I went to the home for rehab 1-22-08 and walked out with a cane and no help from my room to the car on 4-12-2008. Praise the Lord I have made it now. It was a long hard journey. I am now 66 years old.

Thank you.

Charley Hellickson.

Charley, I took up baling hay after I got over my heart attack in 95 been real good for me but at 71 now I don't do much heavy lifting. My wife wants me to quit as she worries about me out running the tractor baler all alone in the field. Hey! they are going to have to carry me off that old tractor. I'm having more than I ever did in my life. Well, almost we kids had a great time growing-up on the Farm in Loomis.
A Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to You.

Charley, That is wonderful that you have turned to corner, feeling like you can take on the world again. God works in many ways ,he gives us strength. The people at the home are great and help a lot of people become active again.
Merry Christmas and good health to all.
Jerry

Charley - A Very Merry Christmas to you also. Sounds like you are coming a long real good. I had a good old fashion Heart attack three years ago and fully understand what illness can do to a person. I have been very lucky and getting along fine. I am 67 and still like restoring tractors and going to tractor shows. Just finishing up my 830 CK diesel. Hope the holidays bring you joy and happyness.
