timing injection pump

is the injection pump timing marks going to be lined up when the engine is on TDC.
or is it off set a little do to the 33 degree BTDC. off set

my book on a 770 which uses the 267 engine shows 29 degrees btc.
the pointer should be set on the crank pulley mark of 33 or 29 degrees whichever is correct.then the timing marks on the pump should line up.
yes the pump marks would not line up at tdc
