Just changed out the solenoid (switch) on my tractor. It now starts right up, but now a new problem.
After the tractor is started, the starter motor keeps running. The starter gear does disengage, but the motor keeps spinning.
When I remove the battery cable, the motor stops spinning, and when I put the cable back on, the motor does not start spinning again.
Started the tractor quite a few times, and problem continues.
Any ideas?
